Login failed for user '(null)'

I have several reports using the same database with the same credentials
(using a specific Username and Password). All display fine, except for one
that gives me the following Reporting Services Error:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Get
Online Help
Cannot create a connection to data source 'BCSpotBonus'.
(rsErrorOpeningConnection) Get Online Help
Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL
Server connection.
I've configured the data in the same way as the other reports and I've tried
using the "Shared database option" and not using the "Shared database
option." Nothing works. How can this be happening? That shouldnt be happening , but even i had the same
problem.
In the Report Designer try to delete the datasource and
then add it again and re deploy the report. Then try to
view the report.
Hope this helps!

Login Credentials

Hi,
When I navigate to my reportsserver url from internet, a login dialogbox
is displayed wherein i have to pass userid and pwd. How can i send this
userid and password(windows account) to the report usinng rs:Parameters?
Or Is there any other way to pass these parameters?
TIAWhat type of authentication do you have setup within IIS on your RS server?
If you have a domain you should set Windows Intergrated authentication. This
would then remove the prompt box.
I think you can configure the userid in either the web.config or the
rsapplication.config (or file called something similar :-))

login and pass in a web.config

Hi!!

is there any way to get the login and password on my program′s web.config?

Full explain:

I have a sub report that is missing credentials.

In my tests, the sub report worked when I fill the login and password with a login and pass (mine, for example). But, this is not a good idea because the login and password would be changed when it′s system go to a production server. So I would need to deploy again with the new login and password.

Best regards!!

Pedro

try following:

<add key="RSServerUrl" value=http://urservername/reportserver/reportfolder />

-kushpaw

But this is to put on my web.config,

I need put in my report′s datasource the login and password that is in my web.config.
